Charity giving for 2017
The committee are pleased to let everyone know that we have chosen our first tranche of charities we are supporting this year from the profits of the Pantomime.
This year we are going to distribute the funds in two stages as we are looking at how we can improve the stage at the Lecture hall, which may involve us in some expense.
We have also this year purchased the removable scenery, a new black curtain and improved the trap door on the stage.
The first five charities to receive £100 each are -
- Parkinsons UK
- Special Olympics Norfolk
- Age UK Norfolk
- Wet nose animal aid
- Tommy's
Any charity not chosen on this occasion will be put forward for consideration when we distribute the second tranche later in the year.
40th Anniversary celebrations.
The Ruby anniversary tea - "An Afternoon tea with a trip down memory lane", held on Saturday 9th April 2016 was a great success and enjoyed by all.
